Case story: Innstyle, Maarssen
InnStyle is a multifunctional event location in the countryside near Utrecht and Amsterdam.
It has 2 accommodations, with 15 rooms. Through the use of lots of glass, French doors and terraces, the venue is connected to nature and the water around it.
They offer countless possibilities for organizing the most diverse events for business. |

CLS was approached by Spot & Speaker in Utrecht to help think about a lighting plan in which the lighting could easily be adapted to the specific needs of an event.
It was important that both high-quality white light and colourful atmospheric light could be quickly programmed with the lighting.
Lighting consultant Erik Elings of CLS came up with a plan using Ruby 8 DMX-controlled RGBW pendant fixtures.
After Dialux calculations, only 36 fixtures were needed to achieve an even illumination.

Jade RGBW was chosen to create accents on the walls.
Installation and programming were carried out by Spot & Speaker in Utrecht.

Focus Casambi Track sensor
At the request of the renowned lighting design duo Heinz - Loopstra in Amsterdam, CLS integrated a Casambi PIR in a Focus track fixture.
In many situations it is not possible or desirable to mount a Casambi motion sensor in an existing wall socket, or one wants to limit the space in which the sensor should be active much more accurately than is normally possible.
CLS has now incorporated its own sensor in the Focus. So now you can easily mount a sensor with the following advantages:
- Easy mounting in standard three-phase rail system
- Horizontally and vertically orientable
- Adjustment of the opening angle of the sensor possible by using a snoot
- Available in black or white
- Much more attractive solution in terms of design than standard sensors
