A symphony of white light and colour
The impressive lobby of This is Holland deserves special attention. Because there is often a lot of daylight during opening hours, extra bright lighting was needed from the 6 meter high ceiling. Originally, the use of Tunable White was planned, but after the enthusiastic reaction to a demonstration of the CLS Ruby ColourFlow RGBW, it was chosen instead. With twice the white light output compared to a regular RGBW fixture and full shadow-free colour mixing, this turned out to be the perfect match. Custom-made versions of the Ruby ColourFlow RGBW create a bright summer atmosphere during the day and a warm, soft atmosphere in the evening. After closing time, a subtle but colourful spectacle passes by. The result is an inviting and hospitable space that everyone can enjoy.

After 20 years at CLS, Timo is retiring
It's been postponed for a while (because the work is too much fun), but on July 1st it will finally happen. Timo is retiring after twenty years at CLS and an even longer career in lighting. He was a pioneer in the field of light and has made numerous contributions to the profession with his countless projects. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues and customers. In addition to light, Timo has another great passion; music. So he definitely won't be sitting still and is probably only going to be seen more often on stage with his band! Timo, thank you again for everything and we wish you all the best!

Lighting interiors for exteriors
Glass is a material that reflects very little or no light. For buildings with a lot of glass, it can be difficult to light up the outside. However, by using colour to light up the inside of a building, it is possible to create an interesting effect on the outside as well. This is because light is reflected off surfaces inside the building, such as furniture, plants and walls. This effect is then clearly visible from outside. We design and develop all our luminaires in the Netherlands. This allows us to quickly make changes and updates to our products.
